“I think this historic building, once owned by the Duke of Wellington, retains a certain charm, enhanced by its setting in a leafy square. Its position offers an easy stroll into Cheltenham, yet with parking included, the Joules Cafe, Bar & Restaurant provides a welcome culinary alternative. I noted the property has stylish lounge areas and a commitment to a comprehensive breakfast, making it ideal for both couples and families.”

efficient staff parking space alternative option
i found the breakfast staff attentive and efficient. they remembered my preferences from the previous day. parking was available despite a busy weekend. the nearby ncp car park provided an alternative option.
the room looked slightly dated and could benefit from some redecorating, but that wasn't a big issue

scalding shower steep stairs
I was quite disappointed with a few aspects. The absence of a lift posed a significant inconvenience, especially considering our room was on the third floor. Carrying luggage up those stairs was not fun. The shower temperature was difficult to adjust, it seemed stuck on a scalding setting. I wish it was easier to get it to a comfortable level.
